      Stockholm

      Stockholm is the capital and largest city in Sweden. The city is also residence Stockholms län administrative region. Stockholm in 2009 had a population of 829,417 inhabitants (2,019,182 in metropolitan area).

      Located at the intersection of Lake Mälaren to the Baltic Sea was originally a fortress which has gradually expanded to the mainland and surrounding islands.
